The other plot

Steven Ryker and Meg Shannon had their chance a while ago, and now they're running into each other again. They had been engaged. From Steven's point of view, he had given Meg his love, but she'd thrown it all away for her career. From Meg's point of view, they had approached the most frightening thing in her life, then gone to be with another woman. In order to complicate the plot, there is a subplot with agents, a mysterious Middle Eastern foreigner, and people who have been sworn to secrecy about this and that. A quick but strong read.
