TRUE SEQUEL

For once here is a sequel that really is. Never Ending is a look at the life and relationship of Sage and Deanne four years after Legacy of Love. Since Sage is not your average woman, neither are the challenges she brings to her relationship with Deanne.Sage and her sister, Cimmie, are the last women of the Doe of childbearing age. When Cimmie's attempts at pregnancy fail, Sage is faced with the responsilbility of saving her clan from extinction. How she handles that affects more than the future of her clan. Deanne, in the process of chroniciling Sage's lineage, inadvertently breaches her lover's trust by contacting Sage's mother. The reaction she gets from both of them is just the tip of an iceberg she is not prepared for. Throw into the mix the temptation of an old lover, and Never Ending has enough twists and turns, and ups and downs to keep you turning the pages and guessing at what's going to happen next.Marianne Martin does a fine job at the difficult task of writing a successful sequel. This is the second half of an exceptional story, full and well-developed. You'll even learn a little bit of Native American lore. A don't miss book from a fine author.

AWESOME!

This is an awesome story. I have been a fan of Marianne Martin since I first read Legacy of Love. I loved Legacy, and I enjoyed all her other books, but this one is closest to my heart. There were things about Sage that I sensed were there and I was right. In this book Martin shows the strength of Sage's conviction to her tribe and her heritage. And when her convictions conflict with her relationship with Deanne we get to see what Sage is made of. Actually, we get to see what everyone is made of in this one - Deanne, Cimmie, and even Sage's parents. The limits of love, trust, tolerance, and conviction are all tested and the emotions run strong; if they didn't the story wouldn't have been so intense and believeable. After reading this book, I took a closer look at my own beliefs. I hope that I would have Sage's strength to hold them up, but I don't know if I could risk love to do it. Unlike most romances, love in this story goes beyond the lustfulness of a new relationship. Sage and Deanne have been together for four years and face decisions that challenge their committment to staying together. It was refreshing to read a story that gets into the true grit of a relationship that is fighting for survival.Another thing that I really liked about this book is the care that the author took in protraying Sage's Seneca heritage. As a Native American I appreciate her going the extra mile to make it accurate and truthful. The opening sent this book straight to my heart.I highly recommend Never Ending, it is an excellent book.

OH MY GODDESS!

WHEW! What a follow-up to LEGACY OF LOVE. To say it is touching is putting it mildly. If you believe that love triumphs over all, conquers hatred, fear and despair- heals wounds, then this book is definitely for you. It brought me to tears and has left me with such sweet and haunting memories. I only wish there were five more stars available for rating. READ!

Put Warmth in Your Heart and Pride in Your Soul

In "Never Ending", Marianne Martin continues her excellent ability to develop strong, competent characters within a magical, entertaining story. This sequel to "Legacy of Love", is a touching love story, a historical novel, and a celebration of the strength of the human spirit and of confident, caring women, all in one unforgettable book. Ms. Martin depicts Sage Bristo's extraordinary effort to save her Native American heritage as a member of the Seneca's Clan of the Doe and, in the process, takes the reader through a gamut of emotions involving serious problems with her partner, Deanne and tense, life-threatening events with family members. This is a real, warm story with graceful and brave characters that will make you proud to be a woman. A worthy successor to her earlier books and I'm eagerly looking forward to the next. Thanks Marianne.

Never Ending is one book that is a must read.

In Never Ending we meet Sage Bristo and Deanne Demore from Legacy of Love. Sage must face the end of the Clan of the Dove unless she or Cimmie have a child. Marianne Martin does her usual exceptional job of creating a book that is a must read and one that ends too soon. I could have wished for 100 more pages. Don't miss this!!!
