Regarding Naturopathy's Science-Ejected Vitalism, 1984:

This book is one of the seminal 'modern-ish' naturopathy tomes, and it clearly states the science-ejected vitalistic belief-premise that essentially defines 'the naturopathic sectarian,' and I quote: "naturopathy [...is] based on vitalistic principles [p.016...] naturopathy, according to the manifesto of the British Naturopathic and Osteopathic Association, is 'a system of treatment which recognizes the existence of a vital curative force within the body' [...] often referred to as the life force [...] the concept of vitalism underlies all natural therapies [...aka] the body's vital response [...] the vital defense mechanisms [p.018...] vital curative ability [p.019...] vis medicatrix naturae: the belief in the healing power of nature is at the core of naturopathy and, indeed, all natural therapies [...aka] a vitality, or life force [p.021]." -r.c.
