The Hero's story

Sam McKade jumps to the rescue of a bus full of school children, just before going to meet with his Admiral to report on a Navy leak. Now Sam can't remember what happened leading up to the accident. Before sailing down to Mexico he had met Annie O'Toole owner of the resort Summerwind. Now after his accident he is returning to her so she can heal him. Ammie O'Toole was one of the millions of viewers that watched Sam McKade get thrown from the school bus after saving the bus full of children. When she'd known him he had been Sam Mitchell the man she'd seen for two weeks before he set off to explore Mexico. Now he's coming back to stay at Summerwind. This time battered and not knowing her. His attraction to her is still there and he gets all of the firsts over again. Only for Annie she's already lived it all and wishes Sam would remember. The excitement continues as the Navy leak is trying to keep from being discovered. Sam needs to recover his memory quick, in the meantime he is being protected by Izzie and having the time of his life with Annie. How long until time runs out on Sam's good luck? Ishmael Teaque returns again in this book. A fascinating and fun character that is in all of her Navy SEAL's books. The plot is a little unbelievable but let your imagination run with it and it will be a great read.

This was a Great Story!

This was my first book by Chistina Skye and it will not be my last! Annie and Sam's story is great, and you have to love the Navy Seal's. Plenty of laughs, suspense, and of course romance. I loved the scene with Annie and her sister Taylor when they got drunk. Not that I advocate drinking but it was a touching moment in the story. It was priceless and quite funny. Annie is a owner of a Spa in California and meets Sam right before he goes on a mission for the Navy. Sam is not all that he seems to be and Annie finds out the truth about the man she shared several romantic moonlite nights with during a live heroic act shown on T.V. Injured during this rescue Sam finds out that he has lost his memory and is sent to Annie's Spa as a way to recuperate in peace and safety. Annie remembers all that they shared but Sam does not remember a thing. The story goes from there. A lot of suspense keeps you turning the pages, that and the hope that Sam will remember what a special thing he shared with Annie.I will be heading out to buy more books from this talented author.

passion, suspense, and humor--what a great read!

Okay, Annie and Sam left me breathless from page one. I read a lot of romance, but this one was exceptional, with just the right mix of adventure, mystery and sizzle. Sam was a perfect hero, and he knew he had something special with Annie.Izzy was wonderful too--when will he get a story??I highly recommend this book.

Unexpectedly Entertaining

"My Spy" was an unexpectedly entertaining book. Generally I stay away from books with military men. I was in the Navy and find the over heroization of military men lame, but this was an interesting storyline. It was a fast read and there was just enough laughter mixed with the intrigue to make it fun.

Red Lace underwear.....

My Spy the latest from a favorite of mine, makes you think about red lace underwear in a whole new light. This latest "Navy SeaL" love story, takes a injured Navy Hero, Sam MCKade with no memory and puts him back with Annie O'Toole, a spa owner who he shared a weekend of passion with. Annie is an overworked and stressed business woman. She also has a hurting heart who must take care of a man who does not remember her. There love story is sweet and funny. It is a delight to have Izzy back, one of Ms. Skye's favorite ongoing characters. The surprise is that I did not see the villian coming. The finally chapter where Sam meets "his kids" is a tearjerker. I still want another Draycott Abbey story out of Ms. Skye. But her last three books, have been fresh, sexy and lots of fun.
