Molokai: The Story of Father Damien

A very detailed account of the life of Damien in the leper colony. However, the Catholic bureaucracy did its best to make his job most difficult through lies, innuendo, proken promises, etc. Damien's life can be summed up in Johm 15:13 ....."Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends". I have read two other books about the leper colony, one about Damien and the other "Mary of Molokai", but this one was the best.
