Great Book

Every person in church leadership should read this book. Yvon has practical and doable ideas for "marketing" ministries, even if your church is on a small budget. We thought we were doing a pretty good job, but we discovered that there were a lot of areas in which we were falling far short.

Great Resource

This book offers great advice on how to get the most impact out of your ministry. We put a lot of effort into our areas of ministry but unfortunately we often times fall short of communicating the what, when, where and why to those we are trying to minister too. Yvon's book offers practical examples as well as takes a look at the bigger picture of why and how we promote our events. I really enjoyed her perspective on the value of the bulletin to first-time visitors. I am recommending it to everyone on our staff who is involved with communicating our mission, and events to the congregation.

Yvon Prehn offers some great insights for your church promotion. She is a real advocate of getting maximum impact from your church bulletin. This book would be a great tool to give to all the workers and volunteers who work on the bulletin, newsletters, and event promotion. They won't get lost in a lot of technical marketing explanations and will be encouraged that developing church communications is very much a ministry! She encourages prayer and gives practical ideas for action. There are also links to helpful resources and websites.
