They lived on the wild side. Now these bad girls are paying the price.

At Dr. Foreman's School for Girls, the "students" sleep in barns, work on a farm in the blazing heat, and are subjected to ruthless guards who watch their every move. It's an institution run by the dreadful Dr. Foreman, a woman who delights in administering the worst form of punishment--the mysterious Ice Room where the girls face their darkest fears.

A Must Read

This book was VERY good! I could not put this book down, and when I had to, I'd be right back to reading it ASAP. Dr. Foreman gives you chills down your spine whenever you see her name mentioned in the story. The punishments that the girls are put through are indeed ruthless and you think to yourself, "oh my God, I hope that nevers happens to me!" Very good reading material. I enjoyed it! It would make for a good movie.

Come on!!

Alrighty, first review I've wirtten, and decided to do it because this book isnt getting the credit it deserves. Yea it could come off as an odd and somewhat disturbed fantasy book, but if you look into this book for what its worth, I'm sure you can find at least one thing to like! For all those people who pain-stakingly went through only a few pages, ever heard of something which starts out slow and builds up? Thats what this is. Just give the book time, its good

Andrew Neiderman deserves more credit...

First of all, I would like to say how ashamed I am in you VCA fans. How can you call this book crap? Or as the one girl so maturely said, "Ewwww."? Please sweety, go back to Dr. Suess. So what if it wasn't believable to you? I, myself, had no trouble believing any of it. First of all, it's a FICTIONAL book, second of all, open your eyes. Stuff like that does happen in this world, even today. You'd be surprised princess, because you're safe and snug behind your computer screen. The story had a great plot, and just when you think you even remotely understand what's going on, there's a twist and you're back to wondering what's going to happen. I believe it keeps you on your toes, and the ending explains everything perfectly and ties the book together. It sort of reminded me of Holes minus the comedy. Any work of literature should be respected enough to not be labled as "crap." I'm sure if you tried to write something that even came close to the quality and talent of Andrew Neiderman and/or Virginia Andrews, you'd fail miserably. I sincerely didn't mean to make this into a debate, but it's turned out that way. However, if you are a VCA fan, READ THIS BOOK.

Even better than the first one.....

I truly enjoyed "Midnight Flight". It was even better than the first book, which I enjoyed very much. This sequel provides a look into what really happens to Teal, Phoebe and Robin. Along the way, they encounter Mindy and Gia. They work hard, play little and get reprimanded for everything they do. Gia finally decides to do something about the situation and the ending was superb!!!! I'm sorry that there isn't another book to read about these three girls! I look forward to "Celeste".

Exceptional Book

I am a big fan of V.C. Andrews books,,,this book had me in suspense through out the whole book. I couldn't put it down. Teal is a spoiled brat and acted like a spoiled brat throughout the whole time..I did not think she was gonna change at all..And the whole ice room...I did not expect it to be what it was..I totally thought it was this horrible place. Dr.Foreman is nuts...she is really the crazy ones,,and her buddies are not cured,,,they are sadistic and worship the ground she walks on. At the end of the book I do understand why Natani stayed thier,,,,he really cared about those girls and helped as much as he could without really looking as if he helped. I really recommend this book. I did not want to put it down...I couldn't wait to read what happened next. Now I just have to wait for the next book to come out!
