Disappointed

After reading the storyteller I was anxious to read Mercy. I loved the Storyteller but Mercy not so much. I found it to be tedious in several spots. I won’t say anymore because I don’t want to ruin it for others. The characters just didn’t appeal to me.

Talk about a tear-jerker

My husband got me this book for my birthday last year. I loved it!! It's one of the few books I actually cried while reading. I passed it onto a few other people who also loved the book. If you like Piccoult, give it a try.

Good, quick, read!

A fan of Picoult ever since I read The Tenth Circle, I couldn't wait to get into this one. I wasn't disappointed. The subject matter is a touchy one, so read with an open mind. Judging won't get you very far with this book!

Life-like

When Ms Picoult writes, I fall head first into the story. I can not help it. She paints a picture of words that shows the very real lifes of her characters, as if it is happening before my very eyes. But, this story isn't quick and easy reading. Perhaps on one level it is. But, on the other hand, you must stop and ask yourself some very serious personal questions. I love her writing and this book was no different. I only wish she could write faster!! ~d
