Fun and Entertaining!

This book was fun, well written and fast paced! I thought both the Hero and the Heroine were likable characters, and I truly cared what happened to them. Yes, there were a few times when things sped along, and conclusions were reached before I thought they would be, however the story never seemed too rushed. I was kept entertained the entire time... and the sex scenes were super steamy, which is always a plus :)

In South Carolina, Greendale County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Logan MacRoy is excellent at several law enforcement specialties including arson investigator, forensic chemist and bomb expert. However, he conceals from his colleagues his roots as the offspring of King Arthur the vampire and Queen Guinevere the magi. A dormant vampire, Logan has not made the move to become bloodsucker. Recently chemist Giada Shepherd has become a full majae. Arthur assigned her to keep Logan safe from a serial killer murdering the latent with the caveat not to engage in sexual activity with his offspring as that would trigger the vampiric conversion. Giada's only ally is the mystical ancient Smoke the cat who assists her, but he cannot keep her and Logan from being attracted to one another. This is a terrific entry in the Mageverse urban fantasy series (see Master of the Night and Master of the Moon) as the mortal son of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere is under attack while recently promoted majae chemist Giada risks her life and her heart to protect him. Fans will enjoy this pairing as the romance is hot with sexual healing while an insidious killer goes after Logan using magically enhanced bombs with no concern about collateral damage yet also the overarching theme moves forward. A great twist of hearts!

I've been reading for many many years and this book really grabbed my Heart! The love story is sensual and tender. The whole book is very fast paced. The book was strong on plot, with lots of nice twists and turns, had enjoyable, well thought out and developed characters, well described scenes, and plenty of action. I love you work thank you for another great read!

Angela Knight does it again.She always delivers and MASTER of FIRE is hot!!! I started reading and didn't put it down until I got to the last page.

Meh. Not much chemistry between the two characters.

Let me start off by saying I live in the same town that Angela Knight does. I've read every book Angela Knight has written, even the ebooks by various erotic publishers. I generally love everything that she's ever written. That said, I can't help but be disappointed in this this one. Giada and Logan are hot together in the numerous well written sex scenes, but other then that, there isn't much going on between them. There's the typical mental trauma that only their lover can soothe, and they have to save the day once they unite. I'm hoping that this is just an aberration between the two series she is trying to bridge.
