Great title!

This is an excellent book that will keep your attention....a true page turner, thriller. If you like Patricia McDonald, you won't be disappointed.

always a great read

Patricia MacDonald never fails to deliver a great story. I have all her books, and I go back and reread them a second or third time. I don't do this with all the authors that I read.

Chilling!! And a great read, as usual!

MARRIED TO A STRANGER is a terrifying suspense that brings in to question "How well do we know the people that surround us in our daily life?" This concept lends to the intrigue of MacDonald's latest book and is used in a highly successful way. I definitely recommend this wonderful mystery to any fans of the genre. In Martha Powers' DEATH ANGEL, which I read recently as well, the female lead also has to deal with terrible questions surrounding her husband and others close to her after her daughter is murdered. I recommend this book too!

The best thriller I have read in a long time!

"Married to a Stranger" is the best thriller I have read in a long time. It was very well-written, and truly suspensful. How well do any of us really know our loved ones? When Emma is attacked by a masked man with an ax while on her honeymoon in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, her new husband is the primary suspect. They haven't known each other long, and Emma has a large trust fund. The terror and stalking continue. I really liked Emma. While not a macho, action-hero type character, she is intelligent, sensible, and willing to protect herself. This is a great thriller to curl up with on a cold rainy night. I definitely plan on reading all of Patricia MacDonald's books based on how much I liked this one.

Buckle Up and Hold on Tight!!

This excellent book starts off quickly and doesn't slow down until the last page. It will keep you guessing until the very end. Married to a Stranger is one of the best books I've read all summer. It has all the elements of a top-notch whodunnit, including a surprising finale. Patricia MacDonald is at the top of her game in this exhilarating thriller. The characters are interesting, the plot is well-paced and thorough, and the dialogue is realistic. If you are looking for an exciting read this summer I would highly recommend this book. Appropriate for all ages.
