Great textbook

Extraordinary textbook for general clinicians and dental students wishing to get into the TMJ Disorders field. It is worth every buck paid on it.

the more usefull book for tmd students

In Brazil this text book is the number one for tmd dental students The new version is very didatic and usefull for booth professionals and students I use as the main text book in the tmd and orofacial pain class in my dental school

Very good book

This book is really good and I'd highly recommend it for those who are interested in prosthodontics or for those who find TMD an interesting subject, gives you an indepth of everything you need about the TMJ, from anatomy to diagnosis, to a full clinical picture with treatment options, the whole thing.

Great source!

This book is wonderful. The first few chapters especially, taught me so much about the anatomy and mechanics of the TMJ. This book is a great addition to a dentist's library!

A "Must Have" Classic.

A "must have" for any dental library, personal or academic. Dr. Okeson's pedagogic disposition and clear explanations provide a fast, yet safe, route to a broad comprehension of the subject. Throughout the four parts (Functional Anatomy, Etiology & Identification, Treatment of Functional disturbances, and Occlusal Therapy) Okeson presents a logical and documented learning experience for readers at all levels of understanding. The authors' concise writing style leads the reader through the various conditions and controversies to provide a clear, concise understanding of the function and dysfunction of the temporomandibular system. Nearly 600 pages of informative text are summarized into 10 diagnostic/therapeutic algorithms conveniently located in the appendix. A definitive classic! Dr Hans Lennros
