Good instructions, materials a little hard to find

My seven-year-old son and I borrowed this book from the library, and made two kites out of it and bought the materials for a third that we haven't made yet. The first two kites were easy and fun and flew pretty well. The third (a Delta wing kite) is more complicated and is going to require using the sewing machine, because we couldn't find the right materials for taping the pieces together. (I wish the materials list had given us a better idea of what kind of substitions are possible.) My son absolutely loves the book and pored over the pictures but can't do the projects alone. I liked the book enough to buy our own copy, so that the library will stop charging us fines :-)

Anybody Can Do It !

There is no more satisfaction than being able to build or construct something !However, making your own kite and then seeing it soar is the ultimate!This colorful book is not only fun, but the all important word can be used ....EASY ! We made the kite called the " Diamond Two-Stick".It was easy and fun to make ..but the best part was it FLEW !It Soared !We had everybody looking at our kite!
