Said it was econ. Got Microecon instead. Only useful for Ch 1-3 in Macroeconomics.

Pretty good quality, ok shipping

For only paying around $9 total including shipping, this was a great deal. It even came with a study guide book! I wouldn't recommend you pay extra for expedited shipping, because my roommate ordered the same textbook with normal shipping and received it in the same amount of time.

Macroeconomics Parkin

This book was in like new condition. Seller was quick to e-mail confirmation of shipping. We chose standard shipping and just as an FYI it took about 2 1/2 weeks to arrive.

Solid economics textbook

Macroeconomics is a very solid beginning economics textbook. All the principles are well taught and easy to learn. The graphs and illustrations help with the main points. Especially in the first chapters, the review problems and real-life examples are extremely helpful. However, the book was a little too detailed for the level class I took. My professor probably skipped 50% of the textbook. Many of the explanations in the book could have been explained much more simply. Also, the book is divided into several sections, which is helpful, but the section summaries are at the end of the group of chapters! I just thought that was weird. Overall, though, a good textbook.

GOOD SERVICE - GOOD BOOK

The book came in almost new condition and was accurate on shipping time. It is easy to read and explains things well even though the topic still is difficult. It brings it to student level and relatability. All in all thumbs up.

Great textbook

I am an engineer/scientist and I used this book for my first course in World Economy/Macro. Although the course used Mankiw Macroeconomics 5th Ed as the textbook (which is a good intermediate-level book), this book provided a great introductory foundation for the various concepts. The color illustrations/tables in this book are by far the best that I have seen (for example the book uses real units on x and y axes and actual data wherever possible in figures which makes them less abstract than the figures found in other books). Economics by Hall is also a reasonably good book but not as versatile as this one.
