Interesting Cornucopia Of Magickal Tidbits

Llewellyn's 1996 Magical Almanac is full of neat little articles on various (though primarily Neopagan) tidbits of history and Magickal practice. Their holiday calendar is not particularly accurate however (there's a Moslem New Year listed in May and then an Islamic New Year put in June - ?????) and little quibbles here and there (like McCoy's Zombie article, which completely neglects the role of the puffer fish poison developed for zombification), but overall it's a neat little trove of essays and ideas for incorporating different practices into one's lifestyle.

A Cornucopia of Magical Fact and Fantasy and Bright Wit

Well, all right. I am somewhat biased. Three of my own works appear in this edition of the Almanac. Still, I believe it's a keeper. Silver RavenWolf, a major contributor, will keep you laughing while educating you. And who can live without moon phase data at their fingertips?
