I'm a fan of true crime stories and police stories as well

I really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. Very well written and easy to follow along, also you learn about life in New York City during the 1840s to 1890s and the challenges faced by everyday citizens, and insight into the political influence in the creation of the NYPD. Highly recommend
