This is a well organized,easy to use dictionary for a student of any age who is learning French. Words are highlighted to easily find the one you want. Sentences in both French and English help you to understand how to properly use the word.

Excellent Resource

The Student Larousse Dictionary is an excellent resource and a very convenient size. Am trying to relearn French after many years and need all the help I can get.

Great Reference

This is the third French/English dictionary I have bought and is by far the best. Easy to use and understand, and very practical. I am using it along with the Rosetta Stone and they compliment each other very well. I highly recommend.

the best French dictionary

The LaRousse Student dictionary is the best one on the market. It translates French to English and vice versa. It has example sentences with each word and numerous phrases and expressions. It also includes several colored pages of vocabulary such as: animals, maps, food, etc. It is a great dictionary for students from middle school to college.

Pretty good dictionary

This book is very good, it has color, the words are in blue and they look they are highlighted in yellow. It shows the pronounciation very clearly, and the best thing is that it has the definition, gender plus a phrase so the use will know how to use the word.It also has a picture section with the animals, kids and feelings, body parts, family tree, fruits and vegetables and other stuff.Although my version says "student" not "school" as the picture shows.Also, it has small exerts of information about a particular word, usually a place or person.In general is a great little handy book, highly recommend to french students of any age.
