Dr. Bob's Language Development textbook is one to keep for a future speech-language pathologist, or any one in field of health sciences or elementary to secondary education. It is laid out in an organized manner with helpful diagrams and interesting narratives.

This book is packed with an incredible amount of information on language development making it a good resource. However, this incredible detail is confusing for students taking their first course in language development.
