Book Overview

It's fun to be a Baby-sitters Little Sister!

When Karen adopts a grandmother from Stoneybrook Manor, she has more grandmas than anyone she knows -- five! Karen thinks that is very special.

But Karen's new grandmother is so different! Grandma B makes Karen listen to old music. And she teaches Karen funny dances, like the foxtrot.

Are five grandmothers too many for Karen?

interesting book

karen's class announces that they can "adopt a grandma" by becoming acquainted with seniors at Stoneybrook Manor. Karen's thinks it is going to be the coolest thing ever having 5 gradmothers but then she realizes that she's not really interested in the music and dancing her new grandmother is into. On a side plot nancy is afraid of old people so karen found nancy a pen pal grandma(her stepfather's mother) and gets a little jealous when she's sent pictures and knitted mittens. But once karen's class puts on skits and sings music at stoneybrook manor and presents everyone with homemade crafts, nancy realizes there is nothing to be afraid of and she hits it off with karen's adopted grandma and 'adopts' her instead.

good book

I enjoyed reading about karen's adopted grandma and how she liked music and dancing; karen introducing nancy to her grandma in nebraska and how they made pencil boxes, pasta necklaces and put on plays for people at the Stoneybrook Manor as a class.

A Very Cool Book to read!!!!!

i think this book is for younger people like 8-10 if you are beyond that age group it don't think you will really like it that much .........it dosen't matter if you like it or not

A Very Good Book to Read

I like this book very much.I wish I had many grandmothers like Karen.Karen is very nice because she taught her friend Nancy that old doesn't mean they are bad or scary
