My Favorite Book

This is my favorite book. It's "young adult". I, too, laughed out loud while reading it many years ago. It is the story of a boy growing up from about 5 years old to about 18 years old. It is followed, I think, by another great book of his called "Queen Of Swords".

Laugh out loud funny.

A wonderfully funny coming of age novel that has somehow gone out of print. I found it in a used bookstore and found it a fun read. The author mines for laughs with commendable economy of language. Turns out this was made into a movie "Book of Love" in 1990. Screenplay by the author. Never heard of the movie either, but I intend to rent it soon. Fans of "Youth in Revolt" will surely like this book too.
