Hunter pens another winner!

Jillian Hunter has done it again. INDISCRETION has everything I look for in a historical romance. Bawdy humor, sizzling sensuality and wonderful writing.Heroine Anne Kerr is sharp and witty and adept at keeping hero Patrick at arms length, but not too far. Patrick, a Viscount posing as a butler, is hilarous and endearing. Add a touch of mystery and Scotland and you have a read that's hard to put down until the very last page.

Ditch the shrink - this book is the ultimate lift-me-up!

For the ultimate in love, laughter, and tears, look no further. Heck, I insist you whip out your credit card and buy this book now! Heh heh. Seriously, I have a wonderful time reading "Indiscretion". Wonderfully wicked repartees fly sharp and fast, along with hot hot hot bawdy love scenes and foreplay enough to steam up one's spectacles. And even better, there is enough emotional poignancy to add substance to this wonderfully wicked and witty farce.Definitely recommended to anyone looking for love and laughter. Forget going to a shrink or binging on ice cream, this book works much much better. Oh, and I'm not the author's mother, by the way.

A very lusty farce and an altogether wonderful romance

Jillian Hunter just seems to get better and better. What makes Indiscretion work so well is the plot structure, which immediately reveals the past relationship between widowed heroine Anne and Patrick Sutherland, fifth Viscount Glengramach.Queen Victoria sends these two, in the company of Patrick's eccentric aunt, to investigate the death of Anne's uncle - was it murder or did he die of natural causes? While determining that is the basis for the story, it does not IN THE LEAST bog down the romantic interplay between Anne and Patrick, or the clever banter with and between secondary characters who are wonderful as well.Anne wants nothing to do with him and Patrick will do anything to get her back, even if it means suffering from "housemaid's knee" while pretending to be her butler. This is an incredibly witty farce and is a far more sexual book than others I've read by author Hunter in the past. It's terrific!TTFN, Laurie Likes BooksPublisher, All About Romance

Jillian Hunter's Best Novel To Date!

Like so many romance writers today, in this tale Jillian Hunter crosses the genre lines into mystery without leaving the historical romance field behind. She successfully blends the genres into a fun and exciting adventure for the reader. In my opinion, this is Jillian Hunter's best book to date. The real bonus for the reader is her typical comical interactions between vivid characters. You can actually see yourself or people you know in many of these situations. The story is of Anne Kerr, who has never gotten over the scandal of a brief affair with Patrick Sutherland before he left to fight with the infantry. She was then quickly married off to his cousin so her parents wouldn't have to deal with the headstrong girl any longer. Seven years later, Patrick and Anne are thrown together by royal decree - they must investigate the mysterious death of an uncle, with the help of Aunt Nellwyn, a widow who has outlasted several husbands but will never overlook a good time. The story is set at Anne's hunting lodge with Patrick acting as her butler, which in itself brings about many humorous situations. One of the best things that Hunter brings to her books is her vivacious characters and their amusing repartee. She has compelling women and romantic men who always seem to have battles of wits throughout her books. This tale will have you laughing your way through as you try to figure out who the villain is that killed Uncle Edgar and then on to the last page. Indiscretion should be a definite addition to your list of "must read" books!

Hunter at her finest!

Once again, Jillian Hunter entertains with incredible dialogue, plot, and characters, not to mention sparkling wit. No doubt about it, Hunter is one of the finest romance authors in the genre today. I have never been disappointed in one of her books, and this one is no exception. Bravo!
