Illustrated Encycl. of the World's Comm. Aircraft

I originally received this book at age 10 in 1978 as a Christmas gift from my parents. I enjoyed looking at it back then, and still enjoy it today over 20 years later. Now that I have my private pilot's license, I understand a bit more of the technical details and descriptions. The book provides a great history of the major manufacturers, technical specs., color photos and cutaway drawings of the major airliners and business jets of the day. There are also a few large 11 x 17 fold out pictures of planes such as the Concorde and the 747-200. It was one of my absolute favorite books growing up, and now my children like to look at it and are developing an interest in aviation as well.
