THE FIRST TIME AUTHOR HAS AN EXCELLENT IMAGINATION.

I FIRST READ IF EYES ONLY KNEW LAST WINTER. I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. IT REALLY TOLD TRUE LIFE SITUATIONS. WHO WOULD THOUGHT ALL THE GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END. IT'S SIMPLY KARMA WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND BUT TWICE THE PAIN AND HARDSHIP!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !! ALSO READ THE SEQUEL GRIMEY!! OF THE HOOK!!!

Excellent!! for a first time author

what you must know about this version of the book, is that it was the first copy of this author's work. This book hit the shelves before she became a part of Triple Crown Publications. It is a definite page turner, and has since been printed by the same publications group that brought to us the famous BMORE CAREFUL, TRUE TO THE GAME and so many more. It has since been re-edited and renamed "Blinded". It's a story based on a girl named Mona, living in the hood, trying to be the typical "GROWN WOMAN" in a teenagers world. she takes you on an adventure through her hood, and gives you an inside look on the "GRIMEY" game. This book is definitely a page turner...and if you like the other popular titles under Triple Crown Publications, YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE!! this is definitely one worth adding to your collection.

All I can say is wow

To the author this book was excellent and for real. There is so much going on in this world right under our noses, and we don't even know it. I feel all teenagers should read this book especially females so they won't fall under the same trap Mona did. Again, you did an excellent job with this one, can't wait for your next book...

THIS BOOK IS A PAGE TURNER,READ THE FIRST TWO PAGES AND YOU ARE HOOK,THIS IS A BOOK THAT EVERYONE SHOULD READ, THERE IS A LESSON TO BE LEARNED.

Something so real!

I read this book in its entirety in less than 24 hours and that says I just couldn't put it down! The author, KaShamba Williams, has managed to immediately grab the reader and not let her or him go with this down-to-earth and very realistic description of what life was going to be like for an 18 year old girl just out of high school who was ambitious and insisted on taking the short cut to lots and lots of money. Unfortunately, in this very real life novel, there is a very dear price to pay and she does.I won't give away the entire story but it held my interest and I just couldn't wait to write about the effect it has had on me and will for a long, long time. My heart is sadden because I know that what this young woman has written about is going on 24/7 in the communities, especially the black community, and many times it seems there is no hope to escape a life of fast living, expensive cars, illegal drugs and the huge amounts of monies as a result of drugs that are put at young people's disposal, the expensive clothes, expensive housing and unlimited amounts of capital to go and do whatever they want to do. But again, what a price to pay and who really benefits? To conclude, this novel had it all though, loose morals, easy money, family life disintergrated, killings and murder, prostitution and what in the end is the most important point for me at least, which is that God is in controal, always has been, always will be and unless a person is instructed and given discipline along with lots and lots of love, sometimes you won't have a chance to live any kind of life.I recommend this to be read by high school students, college students, parents and educators because we all should have our eyes open to what can and does go on in our communities. We need to stop the madness and we can!!Good luck KaShama Williams and I know that everything you do can only be uplifting for yourself and your family and that God will continue to bless you for your hope and faith in Him.
