I love it!

I am biased. My daughter is on the Autism Spectrum and it has been a struggle to discover how to get her to the side of the "readers". I am Lost! is the first book she read completely independently. It is a well written story with nice word choices for easy sounding out and recognizable sight words. It will be my favorite for a long time to come.

In addition to the adorable main character, a puppy, it teaches several valuable lessons: why someone may get lost; the importance of knowing one's address; and how the police help people in trouble. Get this book for the Spanish speaking child in your family!

Good for beginning readers

My daugther is 4 1/2 and just starting to read - this book was the perfect level for her - one or two new words - but not too hard. The illustrations were also nice.
