The Quintessential Book for every reading you'd ever NEED

Thorough, engrossing, fascinating, useful and practical. This is a great book for the beginner and for those who consider themselves master readers of the tarot. It deals with the astrological aspects as they correspond to the deck, the Kabbalistic correspondence and gives thorough and engrossing layouts for every aspect of one's life regarding ANY question you may need. These layouts are intense, thorough and meant to provide DEFINITE insight - not some vague half-baked answer! This is a fundemental book in my recommendationa for my students of tarot! Well worth the $0.98 it'd cost you to get it used.

The best basic Tarot

I've bought and discarded many Tarot books, but one that has kept my attention for twenty years is this thin sixties paperback. With straightforward, arresting black and white line drawings and interesting sample readings, this is a fine book for those looking for an introduction to the fascinating world of Tarot. Good for beginners and professionals, this is the Tarot book you will keep, and refer to again and again.

Interesting, Rare book about The Tarot

If you are looking for Great Books, by the most proficient and prolific authors of Astrology, Tarot, Numerology and related fields, do a search on Doris Chase Doane. She is a legend in her own time and is highly-respected by many well-informed and instructed Astrologers in the Nation and throughout the world. I purchased this book at an Astrologer's Convention in 1992 & I have found it to be quite useful in the study of The Tarot. This is the only book that I have seen in the public domain (until recently), which has a Full depiction of The Brotherhood of Light Tarot cards. "The Sacred Tarot," by C.C. Zain, has full-page illustrations of the Major Arcana of the B of L deck & smaller representations of the Lesser Arcana...but, "How to Read Tarot Cards" includes illustrations of the Major and Minor Arcana in an easily-referrenced, consecutively-placed and described manor. This book is dedicated to "all those brave souls, who, amidst enormous prejudice, have searched for, are investigating, and will continue to seek out the basic truths of nature's laws...."
