Steamy, fun read

This was a fun story! A sexy firefighter who is reluctantly entered in a calendar contest, and a Chinese journalist. Lots of steamy fantasy scenes throughout in what starts out as "let's have sex, no strings attached," but soon turns into a relationship of sorts. Both have family issues to deal with, feeling pressured to marry one of their race because of older generation prejudice. What made this a winner for me was that interspersed with all those sexy fantasies were the emotions between both characters and how they reluctantly at first (especially the heroine), try to keep those emotions out of it because of those family pressures, not wanting to even think about marriage because of them, and then find themselves starting to want what they really want out of life instead of caving in to what their families think they should strive for. It takes the heroine longer than the firefighter, but how could she resist him--besides being hot, he's got a tender, sweet side to him, too!

Great Erotic fiction

Jenny Yuen has a great covering the firefighter calander contest. While there she meets Scott Jackman, firefighter. The sparks fly between the two and before they know it they are having fansty sex together. Scott is after more with Jenny, but is trying to keep her traditional family happy. "Hot in Here" by Susan Lyons is the first erotic book that I have read and I really enjoyed it. This book have more than just sex in it. It is also about trying to break away from family and be your own person. Overall it was a great book, but a bit advice, this is book that should be read at home and not on your lunch break!

Scott is perfect for Jenny. He understands her perspective, and it certainly doesn't hurt that he is a hunk and all around good guy. Their fantasies are HOT, HOT, HOT! Watching their relationship evolve through those fantasies is a delicious treat. A fun story that rings true, Hot in Here is a fabulous erotic read! torrid Canadian erotic romance

However, the gut of the journalist desires Mr. February, Scott Jackman whose hose she wants to play with. Scott has family pressures also as his German family wants him to come home to work the farm. Instead he would rather work Jenny who seems to be able to make all his blood rush to his lower head. As Jenny and Scott hook and ladder each other fulfilling one another's sexual fantasies and much more, neither cool down as sparks continue to reignite between them. Super-sexy story with real character depth as well

Who says a girl can't mix a little fun with her work? So, when reporter Jenny Yuen gets a chance to write a story about the sexy fireman strip-off for a position in the fireman calendar (featuring scantilly clad firefighters), she grabs it. But firefighter Scott Jackman blows her away. Who would have guessed a tap-dancing strip could be so sexy. Jenny hasn't gotten where she is by letting others run over her, so she pushes her way into an interview with the fireman--an interview that is every bit as steamy as her imagination allows. Jenny and Jackman hit it off instantly, but Jenny knows there can be no future here. As a Chinese-Canadian, she'll never be able to break with tradition and actually date a European-Canadian. She proposes the fantasy rules--she and Scott will take turns coming up with fantasies--and it'll be up to the other to help them act them out. Of course, every one of those fantasies will lead to fantastic sex. In the meantime, Jenny comes up with an answer to the problem of parental pressure--finding the perfect Chinese-Canadian to date. Jenny and her three best girlfriends meet each Monday to discuss their lives and adventures. Lyons uses the device of four friends for far more than setting up a chance to tell stories. With their different backgrounds and personalities, the four women can serve as both sympathetic sounding boards and a sort of collective conscience. If you're looking for something super-hot, but want a bit of substance as well, you won't go wrong with HOT IN HERE.
