THE book for any female body shape

OK, so you don't have Marilyn's curves and you hate pill box hats. Fine! Here's the book that can make you seem to be the Hepburn or Jackie O of your Bridge group and reduce the hours and dollars you spend at the mall. A complete guide to looking your best, it addresses clothing styles as well as hair and make-up looks.The only investments required after buying this book wll be a cloth tape mesure and a dose of honesty in front of a full length mirror. After that, it's compliments all the way.

Great help for choosing a clothes style for your body shape.

I borrowed this book from the library and thought it was great. She has found the perfect way to accentuate the positive and hide the negative. She shows how you how to determine your body shape and then choose right type of clothing that will enhance your best features. Unfortunately I have tried to buy this book and have found it is out of print.

A Fashion Formula for Big Beautiful Women That WORKS!

Having worked in the retail clothing industry in sales to larger women, I have found Mary Duffy's book an invaluable resource. The information it contains is so accurate that finding clothing for any figure type is a breeze! Her experience in the inudustry as a model has given her excellent qualifications to write such a manual, and her lighthearted and honest treatment is refreshing to read. I've learned so much from this book and I highly recommend it to EVERY woman, regardless of size! Though it's geared to size 14+, it holds a treasure-trove of information including beauty tips and even how to find the right eye glasses for your face shape!

Reading this book will make you look thinner

This book changed my clothes-buying habits. As a result of buying this book, I have saved money - because I never buy things that don't suit me any more. Also, by using the recommendations in this book, I look thinner - and my waist measurement is 90% of my hip measurement. I'm also top heavy - chest measurement exceeds hip measurement. Despite these horrible proportions, I always manage to look good! If the author has e-mail, I'd like to correspond with her and tell her how much I appreciate what she has done for me by writing this book. Also, I hope she will write more books, articles on fashion, beauty, etc.
