His Healing Power

His Healing Power This is a very insparational and faith building book. Miss yoeman was a medical Dr. and experienced a mighty healing and began to share with others the healing power of Jesus Christ. This book does make you aware of His Healing Power.

An encounter with God's healing love

How sad that this author is so little appreciated today. Dr. Yeoman's writing comes out of intensely painful personal experience which forced her to cast herself entirely upon God. The result was complete physical and emotional healing and many years of highly effective healing ministry. Lilian B. Yeomans was a surgeon. Her training was completed in the last half of the 19th century, when women had to be twice as good as the men they competed with to succeed in medicine. The strain of this finally brought her to a level of stress that impaired her judgement to the point that she began experimenting with narcotics in an attempt to keep up with her workload. Addiction was the result. Nothing the medical community could offer helped. She sought help from the pastor and elders of her denomination only to find them so unversed in divine healing that they refused even to attempt the prayer of faith (James 5:15) In desperation, she plunged into Christian Science, and in spite of having devoted every effort, still found no help. At last, her addiction brought her to the point where she was bedfast and alone with God. Out of that experience came an intense hunger for God's Word, which God honored by strengthening her enough to let her focus on her Bible. While she gives limited detail about the exact process and progress of her personal redemption, she does say that intense exposure to the Bible led her to the certainty that it was God's will to heal her, and that the irresistible craving for the drugs was taken from her. Recovered physically, she gave up her medical practice and devoted herself to sharing the truths she had learned with others. Any one of several of the messages which make up this compilation is worth the price of the book. One of the most striking is "His Face to the Wall" found in the first of the four volumes which make up the compilation. It relates the story of Hezekiah's illness (Isaiah 38). I believe that Dr.Yeomans draws on her own similar experience in her exposition of this story, and I have personally found great inspiration from this lesson. Kenneth E. "Dad" Hagin speaks highly of Dr. Yeomans books in his series "God's Medicine." I have this series on cassette tape and the reference is on tape one, side A, about halfway through. Dad Hagin also included her books on the reading list for students at his Rhema Bible Training Center, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I believe that a careful, prayerful reading of her messages will greatly repay anyone who will study them. Just as is true of anyone attempting to understand the Epistles, readers who have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit will profit more from Dr. Yeomans work. I can personally testify to this because I first read her work before receiving the Baptism. I was strongly drawn to her work during the first reading but now realize that I understood far less of what the Holy Spirit is saying through her than I do now.(The necessity of receiving the Bapt

The Best Author on Healing besides the Bible

I have to say, Lillian yeomans found God when she was on her death bed and I am SO SO happy she wrote this book. Turn your face to God, and you WILL be healed. She has witnessed it in 100's if not thousands of people in her medical practice as well as otherwise. She was a doctor, she treated with medicine, but she herself found herself completely ransacked with a drug addiction that no doctor could treat, except for DOCTOR GOD. GREAT BOOK< GREAT AUTHOR!
