Sturdy book

This is the second board book we have from this illustrator. Sturdy book, and my toddler requests it often.

great board book, good review of nursery rhymes

It has 1 nursery rhyme/page. I love the soft yet very durable board book cover. It's a great kids book for a variety of familiar and a couple unfamiliar nursery rhymes.

Fantastic little book

This is a lovely little book. Most children's books are cute, and the rhymes aren't new--they're the old traditional ones. But the padded cover, the rounded corners, and the overall size and feel of the book are wonderful. It's a book that's lovely just to hold. The pictures are adorable and the book is stuffed with rhymes, which my son, 2.5, is really into right now. We have a lot of books, and I like most of them quite well, but this one is special.

Great, so far

I bought this book for my 1 year-old daughter and so far she loves it. It has a padded cover which is nice, rounded edges on the cover and the pages (so she won't poke her eye out) and the board pages are pretty easy for her to turn. She doesn't quite have the patience to listen to me read the whole book yet - or even one entire page - but I am sure that she will grow into that. I like it because my daughter LOVES playing with books and it's a book that's easy to give to her to play with by herself. I also love the binding - it lays flat when it's open, instead of closing on itself. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't had to the chance to test it out on an older child but I can't imagine why an older child wouldn't love it, too. My little girl loves it more and more every day.
