A good, if not entirely complete service manual. I've found it's best to have the Chilton & the Haynes manuals together to get a real sense of how to fix what's ailing your ride.

An Overall Good Repair Manual

A good detailed manual, a bit too technical, could use more laymen explanation to describe how to fix car problems though.
