What A Thought Provoking Book for Mischievous Little Boys!

When I first read this book to my son, it took both our breaths away with the telling of this story and the beautiful, highly creative artwork. The story was so well told, but the art was even more intriguing for my three (almost four) year old son that he stopped to ask about the pictures on each page with full attention and wonder. The page designs are made from fabric collages and photographed.The story will touch the hearts of many people as it reminded me of my childhood and simple, poignant times in our lives. My son could not WAIT to have Daddy read it to him again and he's going to Grandpa's today to have Grandpa read it to him too. My little boy listened with rapt attention as the magical storyteller (a young girl) in this book told her tale of her little brother, her parents and her grandfather. The book was over 32 pages long and our little wiggler didn't wiggle once during the whole thing!There's a Spiritual aspect to this book and a bit of fun poked at preachers and church-going and tight shoes which makes it all that more readable and a delight for families of all beliefs. Have your handkerchief nearby as it may just provoke a tear from you, if you're easily touched by stories of love and families.
