A great introduction

I read this back in 1997 and I still agree that it's a phenomenal introduction into the field of gay studies. With so many books out there, this collection groups the various essays into sections on community, sexuality, and spirituality. It includes a lot of the big names in queer literature: Signorile, Sullivan, Holleran, Bawer, Boykin, and more.
