Great story! A real cliff hanger

I read this to my 8 yr old son at night before bedtime. The first night which was a wkend, we couldnt stop and kept reading till midnight. Galen is such a likeable kid. But not too good, we see his flaws and weaknesses as he battles within himself. It gives you such a feel for the times. What the people were like, the setting, the culture, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the book. Every night when we would quit reading, we couldnt wait to see what would happen the next night. So well written. My son asked or more books like this.
