Let me start by saying that before I discovered this book, I hated to "eat nutritiously" because it was a hassle to prepare healthy meals and in addition they always tasted so bland; I would end up craving sweets to compensate. In her book, Jeanne convinced me to try a new way of eating: 6 small meals which are high in protein and include a bit of low sugar carbs and a tiny bit of fat. After just one day of eating this way, my energy soared! My sugar cravings went away, and I didn't feel hungry and want to snack all day like I used to do. Also, I don't know what to rave about first: the fact that her menus are incredibly easy to prepare or the fact that the food is genuinely delicious! Last night I had pasta with pesto covered with broccoli and turkey sausage stirfried in olive oil. Yum! It took about 15 minutes to prepare. Finally, she has a section in the menus called, "If you're still hungry..." which tells you what you can add to that particular meal if necessary. (Surprisingly, I haven't needed to do this - the meals satisfy me.) You won't starve on this plan and you'll be amazed at how easy it is and how good it feels to eat this way.
