excellent!!! I had a hard time putting this one down. I have lost my copy, but want to buy another one. Keep up the great writing.

A Christmas novel that warms that heart all year round

Finding Christmas is all about recovering faith in the most devastating of circumstances. The novel opens with Joanna Fuller, who finds herself at the beginning of the Christmas season with little to celebrate. Three years have passed since the untimely death of her husband and daughter. Unable to come to terms with her loss, Joanna buries herself in her work to bury the pain of the terrible accident that took her family away from her on a cold winters night. With the unexpected arrival of a long-time family friend, Joanna begins to uncover feelings that were lost to her even as she uncovers a sinister web of deceit surrounding her daughter's death. Joanna and her friend Benjamin work to find the truth - that Joanna's daughter, Mandy, is alive. The truth truly sets Joanna free - free to live again, free to love again, free to find her faith again. Finding Christmas is at times a heart-wrenching story of terrible loss - and a heart-warming story of dramatic recovery. This is truly a fantastic novel. It brings home the Christmas season any time of the year. I highly recommend it and look forward to reading more of Gail Gaymer Martin's books.

Good Way to Usher in the Holidays

If you enjoy romantic suspense Finding Christmas is a great way to start off your holidays or to perhaps make it a stocking stuffer for that person on your list who enjoys this genre! I always enjoy Gail's stories and this one is no exception. The storyline is already very well described in the other reviews so I won't fill the page with a repeat description. I will say as I read the tension mounted and I found myself not wanting to put the book down until I found out exactly what had happened to Joanne's daughter and how it would all turn out. I do agree with another reviewer in that I would have liked to have seen more conflict in the romance element, but that is very minor. There certainly is enough tension in the mystery surrounding the little girl's disappearance and seeing what was going on through the eyes of the antagonist only raises the stakes. You won't be disappointed with this read!
