Great insight...fast pace

Bobby Clark brings an insider's view to counter-terrorism measures and the immediate clear thinking, discipline, and cooperation it takes to deal with the "deliberate randomness" of terrorism. A great cover photo sets this stage, then Clark's organized chronology and style allow this tale to evolve from geographically diverse locations without confusion as to who's who. His illustration of the value of real, enduring trust and honor among his characters adds a personal dimension to a very satisfying book.

More than just exciting fiction

This book is an incredible read especially in these times of heightened security against terrorist threat. The plot seems at first to be the work of an average group of thuggish criminals, but as the story unfolds, we find that the hidden motives are much more terrifying in scale and consequence than we could ever imagine. The author shows detailed knowledge of terrorist and counter-terrorist tactics. In a world of deception and violence, the path to a safe and peaceful outcome can only be found by the clear thinking and good judgment of Grissom and Bartlett.
