Seller's Review

I am a law school student. Recently, I decided to sell all my law school books since I began in 2006. All the books in my inventory section were used by me. I am now in my third year, and I got this far by using the supplements that are posted in my inventory. I think, if you are a law student you should get a copy of these supplements, either from me or someone else. They are necessary because there would be material on your exam that your professor may not cover in much detail, but does expects you to know. Also, these books summarize the rules in a less cumbersome way than the text books illustrate. Thus, some of the material is old. However, as you know, or should know that the law although changes but doesn't change in such a rapid pace as the publishers come out with the new editions. The new editions are sold for literally 200 - 400% percent more than the old editions. Furthermore, if there are code books that you are buying remember that although some codes do change, but you can get the copy from your library in case if your professor expects you to know the new law. Further, your professor will tell you in class which codes were recently modified because the professors also have to keep up with them and likely to reiterate such modifications in class. That being said, I believe buying little older editions, such as buying 2006 code book instead of 2007 edition, or 2005 edition instead of the most recent edition for 25% of the price is a bargain. At times you wouldn't even need to know the new law, and if you do as being said you have the library. Therefore, being a student some of these old editions are really bargains!!!!

Excellent Reference

This is an excellent and update reference to the FRCP, including that Federal Appellate rules, Supreme Court, and others; basically most of the West's 28 USCA. It really is convenient having this on my desk instead of having to go down the local law library. A must have for anybody needing a FRCP reference.
