Motivation still exists!

It was bought as a gift for a H. S. Sophomore athlete who just won a Gold Medal for her School, the first one ever to have been won by a girl! She liked the book!

A Fascinating Look at the History of Women in Sports

Extraordinary Women Athletes is an extraordinary book. It is well-written and exhaustively researched, filled with inspiring stories of athletes from ancient to modern times who have surmounted social, physical, and political obstacles in their quest to perform. Although written for children, this book is a great read for adults as well. I recommend it highly!
