Exelent! Loveed reading it and making the flushing noise.

My daughter would asked me to read this book OVER and OVER! The Flushing sound helped a lot! She could not wait to get to the part where she could "flush the toilet." I bought this book at a discount retailer & the chip never went out on us. As I looked for a potty training book, I found this one with "real" flushing sound. When I saw it, I remembered hearing of children being afraid of the sound of the toilet flushing. I didn't want my daughter to have an extra thing to worry about other than learning how to go especially since she's is quite shy and a little on the scared-of-new-things side so I bought it. We would read this book while she sat on my lap so the book was right at her level. It did startle her a little at first but as we made fun of the noise it became something to look forward to in the story. The noise it makes can be a little loud if it's right in your face. We learned how to laugh about it and how the little character was a big girl now that she went and flushed the toilet. We would chant, "Woosh! Gurgle, Gurgle!" Then we'd flush our own toilet, "Gurgl, gurgl." We read it so much that my daughter memorized the story and she'd "read" it to me, even after she was potty trained. This made potty training a little easier. I exposed my daughter to the book for a couple of says before asking her to sit on the toilet like the little girl in the book was doing. I also bough a child seat (that goes over the toilet) so she wouldn't feel like she was going to fall in. I recommend this book to anyone - in English OR Spanish. Good luck & Happy Toilet Training!
