A brilliant collection of tales... some of the unexpected...

Jackie Gay and Julia Bell have put together a stunning collection - the stories originating from all over the counties of England. If like you do happen to be English, there's simply no need to question your cultural identity anymore... the writers are able to clearly define the most pressing issues of their locality, familiarising the reader with their surroundings and history. This book includes probably the funniest story of all time (written by Alexi Sayle) about the trials of travelling in London.
