Realistic Mistery

I finished recently of reading this Argentinean Federico Andahazi's novel. In addition to this reading, I have enjoyed other titles from Federico: Las Piadosas and El Anatomista. So that somehow sorrow, the style of Federico has let make an impression, I say to me then that it's sorrow, because if I would not have read the mentioned ones, the style of Federico would have hit me so much by the form in that it is weaving the mystery, the unexpected outcome of histories as by the erudite appointments (for my ignorance at least) that they confer, to the dark competition that maintains those representatives of the Holland and Italian painting school, certain arcane and mysterious realism. It makes me remember a little to the Name of the Rose of Umberto Eco, although only a little. The only pitfall that I must warn is that the end is too bizarre for my pleasure. In any case I devoured the novel in 3 days...(you can find aditional reviews in librosnotables.blogspot.com).
