Jan Peinkowski books are our favorite.

I picked up this book at a $1 sale along with another Peinkowski book (I think the other was called "Five little monsters") I started reading them to my daughter when she was two. She must have made me read it a million times by now. I never got tired of it, it is so much fun to read. Even before she could speak very well, she would look at the pages, say "Suprise, Suprise" and then just giggle. I can't wait to read this to my new little girl!

5 little monsters eat 6 eggs. We laugh at this every time!

Our babies have LOVED to read this book. They enjoy the pictures, the repetitive words, and the engaging story, which is easy for very young readers to understand. My husband and I hope we can find another copy of this book, because it is going to be read to pieces.
