It's just a boring diary

This book is more of a daily diary. Boring. If you're looking for a book to help or enlighten you as you consider being sober, this isn't it. As she struggled for a year of Sobriety, it leaves the reader lacking the desire to quit drinking themselves. So if you're that person that would like to quit and would like to read a book about someone's experience, this isn't the book, in my opinion. The diary entries are just every day entries. Sometimes she discusses her issues around being sober and mostly it's about her meet up with friends, carpool rides, book club meetings, etc. There's no humor to compensate for the lack of interesting diary entries.
