A keeper!

If you are interested in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction or would like to learn more about how our technology reached where it is today in regards to interacting with us, i highly recommend this one for you. Great collection of interviews. very clear and well written.

Must read for any designer, IA, usability professional

Outstanding read about the history of how some of the things we use daily were conceptualized and designed. Moggridge interviews some of the coolest and relevant inventors of the modern (technology) era. The book hit a dry spell toward the end but finished strong. As a usability and design professional I found this book to be a good read on perspective, and to read the techniques and methods used to develop new things.

A must have for any user experience practioner or student

It's a great volume at a great price. The content is very approachable and readable, almost like a coffee table book to introduce the power and effect of great user experience and interaction design to non industry folk. Its a classic in the same league as books by Norman and by Papanek. The DVD shows that this book was well thought with the same craft as other Ideo products. I also recommend the book "Art of Innovation" which talks about Ideo specifically and the practices they use.
