This is a magnificent book for browsing and reading about D-Day.Its 112 pages are mostly photographs, some in color, depicting scenes from that memorable day. If you have seen the movie "The Longest Day," or any other World War II movie for that matter, this is a perfect companion. The volume commemorates the 50th anniversary of the history making battle --a battle that was a major turning point in the 20th Century.
