This Book Is life changing!!!! read the book. Take notes. Apply the information to everyday life. I Highly highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a change in their lives.

Change your whole perspective about selling/consulting/dreaming/winning!

Cutting Edge Sales could be described as an anecdotal reprint of Dale Carnegie's _How to Win Friends and Influence People_, Ron Karr's _Lead, Sell, or Get Out of the Way_, and Rhonda Byrne's _The Secret_: The stories include changing your mindset about selling, approaching people with a genuine interest in their lives and their hopes, taking complete responsibility for your actions and getting up off your butt to make some sales! The stories that each author tell aren't always related to sales of Cutco and often, the stories have way more meaning than selling. You'll find in Cutting Edge Sales inspiration to improve yourself, motivation to make more calls, book more demos, and close more sales, and you'll learn insider tips on how to make yourself the best salesperson you know. Approach the book as a guide- pick stories you love and read them often. Pick stories you like and take from them the tips that will help you. Every author's section is relatively short and includes a bullet-summary at the end to refresh the key points in your mind. Couldn't put the book down... Each chapter gives it's own perspective on the sales process. There is something for everyone...from the advanced rep to the brand new salesperson just getting started. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to increase their business. Worth the investment of time and money!

I agree with Gitomer...It's the GATEWAY TO SELLING In the 21st Century

Right up front I have to admit...I AM A CUTCO FAN! In our home we have Cutco everything, from their super sharp knives that taught us what cutting edge really means (suffered several wounds myself), to the best pots and pans we've ever used, to the most comfortable (and nicest looking) tableware. We even have all of the rest of the tools for cooking, gardening, fishing,...everything! That is why I was so intrigued to read this book...and I can say with certainty, this book is as 'quality' as the rest of Cutco's products. Jon Berghoff is listed as the author (and he is a true Cutco sales superstar with great stories to share), however, there were 14 other Cutco reps who contributed their stories and every one of them was entertaining. When I saw that Jeffrey Gitomer had written the Foreword to this book, I knew it would have some real substance. But I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally high level of sales wisdom that each author contributed. I agree with Gitomer that these concepts are the gateway to selling in the 21st Century. I also think it's FANTASTIC that this book was created as a project to raise money for charities. That is what I call integrity! I commend all of the authors. In summary, for those of you considering buying this book, I felt that it was the perfect combination of a fast and fun read, and an extremely educational sales training aide. I bought several copies of this book and plan to give them out to my staff and friends. I'm thinking that this book might also be a fun companion to go along with the knives that we often buy for wedding and house-warming gifts. DrProactive Randy Gilbert
