Mixed feelings

Great price and quick delivery! However, like many other reviews here, I was extremely disappointed when the cover wasn’t as pictured. It wasn’t the orange and white Heather that I remember so well from my childhood, and the change in cover takes away from that memory. They should at least note, before you buy it, that it is a different cover. I’m looking forward to making my favorite cookie and hoping it is still the same recipe too!

Disappointed

Loved this book as a kid. So many fond memories. The picture shows the original cover like the one I had. When you open the wrapping when it arrives, it is a different cover. The inside contents look like they are the same, but it's a whole different looking cover. I wouldn't have spent the money had I known it would be misleading.

While I am still SUPER PSYCHED to be able to give my 3 sisters each a copy of the Cookie Book this Christmas, I am disappointed that the cover is different than the orange and white design (pictured) that I grew up with. The interior contents are the same, thank goodness! I just wish the different cover had been mentioned.

I agree.. I still use the peanut butter cookie recipe! My Grandmother bought me this book in 1987. Its so tattered but its my favorite!

A Wonderful Classic

I bought this cook book at a school book fair when I was 8 years old, and have used it ever since. The recipes are classic, yet simple enough for children. I am buying a copy for my neice!

I agree with the first reveiw - this was one of my favorites growing up and now it's completely tattered in a ziplock bag -- I'm getting a new one too!

My favorite cookie book!

My mother bought this book for me when I was 10 yrs old and I still use it. I have it in my kitchen and use it often. It is in terrible shape because of all the use it gets. It has the absolute BEST recipe for peanut butter cookies!!! The snicker doodles are great too. Since my book is in such terrible shape, I am going to order another copy!
