Court room suspense

The book was a page turner and the ending was an absolute surprise.

Compelling evidence is that. The evidence is I could not put it down I read it in two days.

Wow! Mr. Martini completely blindsided me. It was a little slow for the first chapter? I am happy I have learned to let the author set his foundation? The book took off with so many turns and changes I was unable to put the book down. At first you don't lke Talia, well I am not going to ruin it for you, read the book. I read it nonstop in two days. Harry Hinds will make you laugh and leave you with a smile on your face. The first time I have instantly liked a lawyer:). Paul is a guy you would like to have lunch. The ending is a complete surprise. A wonderful read. This is my first review and I don't want to give anything away.

Fascinating Trial Lawyer Compelling reading

Excellent characters with believable drama and could not put it down. Great Lawyer lessons.

COMPELLING BOOK

This initial entry in the Paul Madriani series is courtroom drama at its best. Martini's knowledge of the legal system and his ability to explain things in laymen's terms helps this tale move feverishly along. Although I spotted the real culprit early on, it still held me spellbound to see how Madriani is going to get his client, a former lover, off the hook and out of the gas chamber. Speaking of which, the opening prologue in the gas chamber, is chilling and disturbing.What sets Martini's books above so many other of the genre is his impeccable characterization. His characters, even some of the minor ones, come across realistic and human. I know I will spend many more nights exploring the life of Madriani and his fellow legal eagles.RECOMMENDED.

gripping, definite 5 star book!

How any one that enjoys legal thrillers could not be crazy about this book I do not know!! The whole Paul Madrianni Series is great. If you want to get the best effect you need to begin with this one. It is suspenseful, exciting and full of courtroom drama. The personal side of the protagonist is very interesting also, and he is a likeable guy. I highly recommend this book to anyone who reads John Grisham or Lisa Scottoline. They are meatier,grittier and a bit darker.

Well Crafted

This is by far the best of Martini's novels to date. Compelling Evidence is just that, compelling. Gripping courtroom scenarios made it difficult to put down. The characters are truly believable and woven together so well. The ending was unexpected and superbly written. I recommend it to everyone!

IT'S BY FAR THE BEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN BY S.M.I'VE READ ALL FOUR MADRIANI'S TRIALS AND THIS ONE HAS THE BEST ENDING.NO FIGHTS AND HEROISM,LIKE IN THE SEQUELS,JUST LOGICAL MOVES:ATTORNEY MADRIANI(MARTINI'S ALTER EGO) USE HIS MIND TO DISCOVER THAT THE KILLER IS THE LAST PERSON EVER SUSPECTED.IN ADDITION,AT THE END I FELT SUMPATHY FOR THE KILLER

Outstanding!

I've read all of Martini's books and they are all excellent, much better than anything Grisham has written. This story definately stands out as one of the best and it starts off the exploits of Attorney Madriani. Consistent throughout Martini's books are intricate storylines with many twists and turns, surprise endings and very compelling courtroom scenes.
