Lori Wick is back with a new series...

The setting is Token Creek, Montana Territory, 1880. Cassidy Norton has a secret that keeps her from giving her heart to anyone. She has a successful business as a seamstress. She has friends and a church family. Cassidy would like a family of her own but she is afraid to reveal the truth. Eventually she opens up to Trace. He offers her help and love. Lori Wick utilizes scripture in her books. This book is a bit heavier on the moral lessons than usual. Cassidy is action packed. There were a lot of characters to keep up with. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one in this series.

best book ever read

Cassidy by Lori Wick is one of the best books I have ever read. I liked the book because Lori Wick is one of my favorite authors and when I read the book it felt like I was really there were the action was. It was about how Cassidy had problems with her family when her brother visits and Trace is such a good friend through some of the hard times that happened with Cassidy. Some of the reasons I liked it was because Lori writes Christian books and when I read them there so good. Cassidy has had some trouble in her past and it takes one really good friend like Trace to help her through the hard times because he so understands what Cassidy feels. One time in the book there was a point to where he was so supportive through her problems and then later Trace faces a few problems about Cassidy because Trace is always hiding the fact that he likes her and she never admits it either but she likes him a lot to. When he returns she sheds all of her feelings to him. So this is one of the best books I have ever read because I love the way Lori Wick writes.

You Can't Beat Lori Wick!

Before I read "Cassidy" I read through some of the poor reviews of this book by other readers. I am glad to say I DID NOT take them to heart. This was a great book. If you want mushy gushy romance maybe it didn't feed that desire, but I could almost see the town of Token Creek in my mind and the fears and joys of its people. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Lori Wick has a gift for storytelling and weaving the gospel message and Christian principles into her writting.

Cassidy by Lori Wick

Cassidy (Big Sky Dreams #1)All of Lori Wick's series are excellent, and this is no exception. I know the rest of the series (Big Sky Dreams) will be just as wonderful. I really enjoy the way that Lori Wick lets you know how all the main characters are feeling. She really captures feelings and emotions. I was right there in Cassidy's shoes as she went through her different problems, that became worked out by other Christians with true faith. What a great witness. Thank you, Lori.

Great Book!

Lori Wick does it again! Cassidy is a great book! I read all of Lori Wick's books, and this book does not disappoint. I would recommend all of Lori Wick's books. I can not wait for the second book!
