Buddhism Truths for Integral Coaching

I've been studying and practicing Buddhism for some time now and I can honestly say that for me this was an excellent read and a book that I recommend to many many people. It is exactly what it proposes to be Pure and Simple. I offer this work to many of coaching clients who are interested in learning the basics of Buddhism and applying them to their own leadership learning. I recommend it highly to anyone interested in learning how to live a life of freedom and excellence.

Pure and simple to understand

This commentary on the Sutra of the Eight Realizations of Great Beings explains the importance of life in this world. The sutra itself is short but Master Hsing Yun's commentary helps to clearly understand how the Buddha intended these teachings to be used. I thought it was written in a style that is easy to understand. Each realization is explained and then wonderful stories are used to illustrate the main points. These points offer practical guide lines to explain basic Buddhist concepts so the a beginner can understand how Buddhism can improve your life. As somewhat of a beginner in learning about Buddhism and Eastern thought, this book finally helped me to understand the concepts of emptiness and impermanence because they are explained so clearly. It was also interesting to read the interview with Master Hsing Yun at the end of the book. It was interesting to see how this Buddhist Master views many of todays social problems and issues.This is a book that I will keep in my library for reference and rereading.
