This book read like a dream

This book was absolutely great. I loved the fact that a woman was the hero and that she could kick butt. I loved the fact that the guy was utterly lovable and charming. Moreover, I loved that they were both vulnerable and the bickering between them was really cute. The writing style was smooth and flawless, drawing a reader in and always keeping the reader laughing with the witty repartee. The mystery in who the stalker was quite fun to guess at as well. Jasmine's lovable and fun-loving brothers were great funny characters which livened up the book. The only negative that people might have with this book is that Jasmine sometimes tended to fixate on how all the guys at all of her jobs were chauvinistic pigs who looked down on her for being a woman, which was why she needed to prove herself all the time. This was actually a plus for me because I love having the female actually being able to do something and I empathize with her trouble but guys might not like this so much. This book really revived my love of books. I can't sing enough praises about it. Plot: A late night midnight radio personality, the Sandman, receives a death threat on air and he is set up with an unwanted bodyguard. Moreover, the bodyguard, Jasmine, is a woman who has been discriminated against because of her sex. She is determined not to mess up this job and prove to everyone that she is the best bodyguard in the business. The two get off to a quite interesting start, which actually continues throughout the book.

Persuasive, Funny and Entertaining!

What happens when you put together a determined bodyguard with spice and fire with a handsome radio jock whose got endless charm and wit? In this hilarious love tale of two "opposites" that come together, Robyn Amos has also managed to weave in a stalker mystery to be solved, keeping the reader in constant suspense till the end. Its little twists and turns peak the reader's interest as well as awakens the "hopeless romantic" in all of us. You'll absolutely love the characters in this book. A very good read!

Delightfully Entertaining

I loved it. Jasmine is a strong, able, sexy woman who can kick ... Her brothers were a riot. I could SO imagine this story as a screenplay. My only complaint was the misleading cover art. Jasmine wasn't thinking about marriage or rings all the time. On the contrary, her primary focus was to prove herself at her profession.Robyn Amos has yet again proven to be talented romance writer who can mix humor, suspense & love and produce a delightfully, entertaining tale.

Keep your attention

I thought the book was good. Although I was surprised the attraction between Jasmine and Sandman was revealed and played out so soon in the book. Entertaining.

Engaging romantic suspense

Spencer "The Sandman" Powell co-hosts a late night radio talk show when a female caller threatens to "sever his head" while he sleeps. This unknown stalker has also hurled other death threats towards Spencer. To keep the shock jock safe, the radio station hires the Core Group Protection agency. Nathan Pruitt assigns bodyguard Jasmine White to keep Spencer safe. After working a "prom night" or two, Jasmine knows that the Sandman case is her chance to prove that she is more than just the token female. However, Jasmine struggles to keep her libido in check, as she is very attracted to Spencer. He uses his best weapon, sharp double entendres, to restrain his own desires for Jasmine. As Spencer and Jasmine begin to fall in love, his assailant closes in for the kill. BRING ME A DREAM is an engaging romantic suspense that stars two likable lead charcaters thrown together in a gender bending bodyguard situation. The story line works because Jasmine is believable in her profession and Spencer is the type of hunk that lives up to his radio moniker as he will keep readers awake dreaming of him. Though the identity of the stalker seems a bit stretched for shock value, fans will appreciate the talent of Robyn Amos to bring readers a dream of a story.Harriet Klausner
